Healing through Nature
You want to heal but don’t want to be stuck in a therapy office!
Get in Nature with us and experience forest therapy!
Being in a nature or a forest environment helps promote positive well-being. It’s also been shown to reduce symptoms related to mental health issues.
Here’s what a typical forest therapy session might look like:
We spend time walking a relatively short distance, noticing what is happening within and around us. It is not a hike where you are trying to reach a destination.
Guides work in partnership with nature to create a space where participants can slow down and connect in ways that wouldn’t typically happen without support. They invite others to engage in various activities involving the senses, such as smelling different plants and paying attention to the sounds of wildlife. There may be times when participants are encouraged to find a quiet spot to sit and simply experience being part of nature.
At the end of the experience, participants gather to share with one another, fostering a sense of completion and community.
Leave feeling more connected to nature within you and around you.
