Hi, I’m Katie Regan!
Hi! I'm Katie, a registered dietitian who specializes in combining food freedom with sports/fitness nutrition.
I struggled with nutrition misinformation and disordered eating as a young athlete. This took me away from socializing with friends and family, hindered my performance, and created stress towards nourishing myself. I have since done the work to give back to the athletic and fitness community. I am on a mission to dismantle diet culture in fitness. Food is fuel and should be empowering again!
I earned a master's degree in sports nutrition and exercise physiology. I have experience working with athletes from beginner, all the way to Olympic levels. I have a passion for teaching individuals HOW to eat instead of telling someone WHAT to eat. I firmly believe in the power of knowledge. I aim to deliver digestible educational pieces to my clients and develop the tools to navigate their nutrition with confidence for years to come.
My husband and I have been living in Nashville for the past 2.5 years, and are originally from Minnesota. When I'm not talking food & nutrition, I am most likely in the gym training for a new goal (ie. weightlifting, races, discus), outside exploring with my new Australian Shepherd puppy, or listening to Taylor Swift!
